South Suburban Memorials
Established in 1975 by Beatrice Becca in Flossmoor, Illinois. Working from home by appointment only and caring for a terminally ill husband, Bea, as she became affectionately known, soon established herself as quite the memorial designer and confidant to the South Suburban area funeral homes who wished to serve their bereaved families with their memorial needs. Upon the passing of her husband Bea soon opened a small retail office in Glenwood, Illinois and continued to operate there until her decision to retire.
In 1999 the partners of Brian Tennis, William Kress Sr., and John Dexter purchased South Suburban Memorials. The business was incorporated and continued to operate in Glenwood until the winter of 2009.
In January 2010 a new office and show room opened in South Holland, Illinois and South Suburban Memorials moved into its new home where it operates today with the same level of professionalism and high standards as when it was established.
